For most types of raw materials, several machines are required to complete the entire process of wood pellet production. Among them, the wood granulator occupies the main and irreplaceable place, responsible for pressing the crushed raw material into wood pellets. A granulator with a ring matrix has a higher productivity than a mill with a flat matrix.

Raw materials for biomass granulation
Although many types of raw materials (such as household waste and waste rubber, paper) are suitable for the production of biomass pellets, only two types are often used, agricultural waste and wood waste.
Agricultural waste: wheat straw, rice husk, corn cob, corn stalk, tea leaf waste, peanut shell, leaf mustard, shellsunflower seed, jute waste, coffee bean pulp, cigarette stalks, palm kernel shell, bagasse, bean stalk, coconut shell, dry grass and etc.
Wood waste: wood shavings, sawdust and small bark left at a sawmill, furniture factory, paper factory and in the construction industry; branches and rotten wood lie on the side of the road; dead trees killed by insects or diseases.

The granulator is a key element of the production line, which is necessary for converting biological waste into granules. The granulator is designed to produce small granules (with a diameter of no more than 14 mm), the basis of its design is a horizontally rotating ring matrix, and inside it there are two rotating rollers, their axes are fixed.

The productivity of the granulator varies depending on the granulated raw material and the selected matrix.

This model provides processing:

Production waste during woodworking (shavings, sawdust, wood chips, shavings);
Waste of agricultural crops (husk of sunflower, buckwheat, millet);
Chicken litter (allowable humidity 10%);
Stalks of reeds, hay and straw, alfalfa.
Also, this granulator can be used to produce a variety ofcompound feeds from cereal crops, for example, wheat and corn.
