The vibrator is an unbalanced centrifugal mechanism, the forcing force of which is caused by the rotational movement of an inertial element. The vibrator is an electric motor with imbalances installed on the ends of the rotor shaft. Imbalances, rotating with the rotor shaft, create a centrifugal (forcing) force. Regulation of the magnitude of the coercive force of the vibrator is carried out by changing the mutual arrangement of imbalances on both ends of the shaft. Circular vibrations of the vibrator are transmitted to the structure on which it is installed.

Platform vibrators are used as part of installations for compaction of concrete mixtures or soils, during transportation or screening of loose materials, to facilitate the movement of cohesive materials, for example, when unloading from asilo or a bunker. They are the main components in the manufacture of vibrating feeders and conveyors, ejectors, vibratory mills, vibratory mixers, sieves, vibrating tables, vibrating plates, vibrating racks.
