STRIP TILL UNITSOIL TREATMENT STRIP-TILL KRIOS

The Strip-Till Krios strip tillage unit is intended for soil preparation, underpropashnye crops with simultaneous application of mineral fertilizers. With the help of three coulters (turbodiscs), high-quality loosening of the soil is made.

Fertilizers can be applied in two independent ways:

1) spilling of fertilizer on one of the working coulters of the unit, which ensures mixing of the fertilizer in the treated strip;

2) applied fertilizer with a loosening chisel to the bottom of the treated strip or deeper.(//tractor-service.com)

Effectiveness of using the Strip-Till Krios unit:

• only 30% of the field surface is treated (fuel economy);

• spot applicationmineral fertilizers (required at the late stages of plant development);

• mulched interrows are formed (they do not allow moisture to intensively evaporate);

• in spring, black strips warm up faster (early sowing dates).
