The KhTZ-3512 has a 35 hp engine. Due to the small power, the fuel consumption of this mini-tractor is 5-7 liters per hour.

Engine

KhTZ-3512 is equipped with a 4-stroke, 3-cylinder diesel unit MMZ-3LD, supplied by the Belarusian enterprise PRUP "MMZ". The power plant of this mini-tractor is unpretentious and economical, has liquid cooling.

Cold conditions are not a problem for the MMZ-3LD. In this case, the engine is started by means of a system of pre-start electric torch heating of the intake air. The technique is controlled through a mechanical reversible gearbox with 6 rear and 8 forward gears.

KhTZ-3510 served as the basis for the creation of KhTZ-3512. However, the newer version received a number of significant changes. Among them:

improved power plant controls and a control system that allows monitoring of engine operation;
RUP advanced clutch, manufactured by MTZ. This permanently closed clutch is a dry, single-disc clutch.
