Forest fern (ostrich), Kherson region.

Forest fern is a perennial plant that will decorate shady corners of your garden with beautiful foliage from spring to later autumn.
The fern has thick brown rhizomes with a large number of secondary roots.
Above the underground rhizome of the forest fern, a beautiful rosette develops, formed by curved pinnate whole-leaf or lanceolate leaves, or rather, leaves.
Ferns go well with other shade lovers - hostas, which are also available.
The roots and leaves of the forest fern are used in folk medicine.
