Phlox panicle is a perennial, unpretentious plant, not demanding on the soil, grows well in half-light.
The panicled phlox is especially interesting because it blooms in July-August. Very few perennials bloom during this period.
Moreover, it blooms in 3-4 waves: at first, only half of the laid buds bloom in the inflorescence, which cover it very tightly, forming a continuous layer. Then they wither, but it is still too early to cut the panicle - look closely and you will see that there is still a large number of unopened buds between the withered flowers. Shake off all the dry flowers, new ones will open and in a week the phloxes will again delight you with the same bright flowering, it happens that some buds remain for the third wave of flowering.
Then you cut off the blossomed top and the remaining branch releases side shoots that bloom again, thus the flowering of one bush can be extended for 1.5-2 months.
Flowers with a diameter of 2-3 cm, collected in bright inflorescences in the shape of a ball, fragrant. Such a bush will decorate any plot.
