Elastomeric composite material "Stroiizol 2K" is a two-component composition according to TU U.2.7-24.3-36395621-001:2009
• Composition No. 1 — a viscous homogeneous mass without extraneous impurities, containing a high-molecular polymer, fillers, modifiers, technological impurities and a solvent.
• Composition No. 2 — powdered vulcanizing agent.
• After combining composition No. 1 and No. 2, thoroughly mixing and applying the elastomeric composition to the surface to be protected, a process of cold vulcanization occurs due to a chemical reaction and the coating acquires a rubbery structure.
• The coating on the surface to be protected can be applied mechanized by spraying, as well as by hand, with a brush, roller, spatula, or paddle. Work with Budivezol 2K Ecobit material can be done at temperatures from -20 °C to +40 °C, providing the possibility of year-round use. At the same time, the material does not require heating.

Application:

Requirements for the surface to be protected:
The waterproofed surface of building structures, underground parts of buildings, in particular, subway tunnels of fine laying, which is previously cleaned of contamination and previously neglected by blowing with a stream of compressed air. It is allowed to apply a waterproofing layer on a surface with a humidity of no more than 80%.(//tractor-service.com)

Preparation of the working composition StroyIzol 2K Ecobit:

With each container unit with composition No. 1, a package with composition No. 2 is supplied according to the amount of the corresponding mass of composition No. 1.
0.050 kg (50 grams) of composition No. 2 is required for 0.950 kg of composition No. 1.
To prepare the working composition, it is necessary to introduce composition No. 2 into composition No. 1 and mix thoroughly (for at least 20 minutes with a mixer nozzle) until a homogeneous mass is formed. After mixing, the working composition is ready for work, the material must be used within no more than 12 hours.

The technology of applying the composition StroyIzol 2K Ecobit

On the cleaned and dehydrated surface, apply a soil layer (primer), which is diluted 1:3 StroiIzol 2K Ecobit with White Spirit solvent.
(i.e. 1 kg of Stroyizol 2K Ecobit + 3 kg of White Spirit)
The activation operation is mandatory.
Primer consumption is 0.250 kg/m2 of insulated surface. Application can be made as a CO 150A or CO-150B unit, also by hand, with a roller or brush. The time for vulcanization of the primer layer is no more than 1-2 hours (depending on weather conditions.)
The primer layer is considered suitable for further work if there is no sticking when walking on it (the primer layer does not lag behind the concrete).
After vulcanization of the primer layer, it is necessary to apply the first layer of Stroyizol 2K Ecobit.
The first layer is also applied by spraying with a CO-150 type unit with a CO-123A sprayer and supplying compressed air at a pressure of 6-8 atm, as well as by hand, with a brush, roller, spatula, paddle.
The consumption of StroyIzol Ecobit during the application of the first layer is ~ 1.3-1.5 kg/m2.
After applying the first layer, it is necessary to lay a reinforcing fabric on the entire surface of the applied material.
The vulcanization time of the first layer is 24 hours. (depending on weather conditions.)
After 24 hours, a second layer should be applied, using the same method and consumption as the first layer.
The vulcanization time of the second layer is 24 hours. (depending on weather conditions.)
The thickness of the "Stroiizol" waterproofing layer in the dry residue (after vulcanization) should be 1.5-2.0 mm.
