STvega Tray Sealer L331 semi-automatic tray sealer is designed for vacuum packaging of products in shallow trays or on flat cardboard substrates followed by hermetically sealed film. The machine forms skin-type packaging, which is widely used in the food industry for packing meat, fish, seafood, sausages, cheeses, vegetables, fruits and ready meals.

During packaging, the film tightly adheres to the surface of the product under the influence of vacuum, accurately repeating its shape. The air from the chamber is completely removed, which minimizes contact with oxygen and slows down the processes of oxidation and deterioration. As a result, the product retains its natural color, texture and freshness, and the finished package looks neat, presentable and reliably fixes the contents in the tray. This packaging format increases the product's attractiveness, facilitates transportation and allows to increase the shelf life without the use of preservatives.

Principle of operation:
The operator installs the trays with the product in a special mold inside the vacuum chamber. After that, the film is manually stretched over the trays, and the camera is closed with a lid. After the cycle is started, the air is pumped out, followed by automatic hermetic sealing of the film to the trays in a vacuum environment. After the process is completed, the operator opens the camera, cuts the film around the perimeter of the trays and takes out the finished packaged products. The packaging has a presentable appearance and provides reliable product protection.
