Mastic KN-3 ECOBIT is single-component, cold application, ready to use. Made on the basis of high-quality rubber with polymer additives and modifiers. After drying, it forms an elastic layer resistant to the influence of external factors.
Purpose:
Gluing of rolled bituminous materials
Installation of bituminous roof tiles
Gluing plywood under the parquet floor.
Gluing extruded polystyrene.
Properties:
Black, paste-like mass.
Does not require heating.
Forms a rubbery layer after drying.
Resistant to shock loads at any temperature.

Limitation:
Do not use in organic liquids: oils, petroleum products, solvents. For other purposes of application, consultation with technical specialists is recommended.
Preparation of the base:
The surface must be clean and dry.
Remove dust, sand and other debris that can reduce adhesion.
At negative temperatures, clean the surface of snow, ice and frost, warm it with gas or infrared vodka.
It is recommended to prime the surface with a primer before applying mastic.

When thickening, it is allowed to dilute with solvents (white spirit,
gasoline,
kerosene, solvent, nefras) to the desired consistency, but no more than 20% of the mastic mass.
Mix thoroughly before application. Do not heat!
It is recommended to apply in two layers with a brush or spatula. On horizontal surfaces, it is possible to apply by pouring method with subsequent leveling.
The second layer is applied after the first one has completely dried.
The drying time at a temperature of +20°C is no more than 24 hours.
The recommended layer thickness is 2 mm.
Consumption with a layer thickness of 2 mm is 1.5–2 kg/m².
Recommendations:
Mastic is applied to a dry surface.
Operating temperature range: from -40°C to +100°C.
Safety measures:
Mastic belongs to the group of combustible materials.
After drying, the coating is non-toxic.
Use canvas gloves when working.
Provide good ventilation during internal work.
It is forbidden to use mastic in residential premises with poor ventilation.
In case of skin contact: first wipe with a cotton swab soaked in
gasoline or white spirit, then wash hands with soap and water.
Protect from fire!
Storage:
Store in the hermetically sealed manufacturer's container at a temperature not higher than +20°C in a ventilated room.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
Shelf life — 12 months from the date of manufacture.
