Economic and technological characteristics of the new late-ripeningflax variety-Dovhuntsia 'Esman'.
This variety is characterized by high yieldsstraw (5.9 - 6.1 t/ha),
seeds (0.78 - 0.86 t/ha),
of all fiber (1.61 - 1.74 t/ha), including long fiber (1.05 t/ha).

It has high resistance to lodging, shedding of seeds and medium resistance to anthracnose and fusarium.
According to the results of the State variety test in 2016, the "Esman" flax variety was included in the State Register of plant varieties suitable for distribution in Ukraine.
The "Esman" flax variety combines a high yield of straw, seeds, fiber with high quality of the latter and resistance to lodging and diseases.
Recommended for cultivation in all flax-bearing regions of Ukraine.
The introduction of the late-ripening high-yielding long-yielding flax variety "Esman" will provide an opportunity to obtain high yields of flax products and contribute to increasing the efficiency of the domestic flax industry.
