MALYNIVKA
Soft winter wheat
ORIGINATOR: Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics HAH of Ukraine.
ENTERED INTO THE REGISTRY OF PLANT VARIETIES OF UKRAINE in 2014 for cultivation in the Steppe, Forest-Steppe and Polissia zones of Ukraine.
BIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS: short-stemmed Malynovka variety, plant height 88-92 cm, medium-ripening, growing season 281-287 days. Resistant to laying and shedding. It has high winter hardiness and drought resistance. Resistant to damage by major diseases and pests, to runoff and germination of grain in the ear. A species of erythrospermum.
GRAIN QUALITY: the flour-milling and bread-making indicators of the variety are excellent.
Grain contains 14.0-14.7% protein, 29.2-30.9% raw gluten, flour strength 305-349 a.o., volume of bread from 100 g of flour 1100-1210 ml, overall bakery rating 8.2-8.5 points. Strong wheat.
ECONOMIC CHARACTERISTICS: the variety is highly productive. According to the data of the originator (IFRG HAH of Ukraine), during the years of competitive testing (2007-2012), the average yield of the Malynivka variety was 89.7 t/ha, which was 7.8 t/ha higher than the yield of the national standard.

The grain yield of the variety in the state variety study (2011-2013) in 35 variety trials was 50.3-103.0 t/ha. The average productivity in the Steppe zone during the years of the state trial was 49.1 t/ha, in the Forest-Steppe zone - 62.4 t/ha. Guaranteed allowance to the national standard in the steppe and forest-steppe zones of 2.9-4.7 t/ha.
Significant increases in the yield of the Malynivka variety to the national standard of 2.5-29.7 t/ha were obtained in 18 variety trials in 13 regions of Ukraine (Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Kharkiv, Rivne, Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Zaporizhia, Odesa).
AGROTECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: in order to obtain high yields, the Malynivka variety must be grown using intensive technology based on the best predecessors. The second top dressing with nitrogen fertilizers should be carried out only after the plants have emerged in the tube. In order to obtain high-quality grain, it is necessary to carry out the third top dressing with dry nitrogen fertilizers or foliar top dressing with urea N10-15 kg per year. per hectare in the earing phase - milk ripeness.
To ensure high grain yields, it is necessary to protect plants from pests and diseases 2-3 times, especially after throwing out the ear, with fungicides such as alto super, falcon or folikur.
Sowing rate
seeds 5.5-6.0 million similar grains per 1 ha depending on the zone and moisture supply. It is necessary to sow in the second half of the optimal terms.
A characteristic feature of the variety is high drought resistance and environmental plasticity.
