The variety has been in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2009, recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Polissia of Ukraine.

Distinctive features of the variety and approbation features.

The Forest Song variety belongs to the variety of erythrospermum, a semi-spreading bush. Wax coating on the sheath of the flag leaf and on the ear is very weak, almost absent, on the upper internode - moderate. The color of the leaves is bright green; the height of the plants is average. The ear is spiny, white, pyramidal, long, medium density. Spikelets at the top of the ear are short. The shoulder of the spikelet scale is rounded, of medium width. Spikelet spike of medium length, slightly bent. The grain is large, red in color. Weight of 1000 seeds 45-49 g.

Biological and economic indicators

Highly productive: in the competitive variety test of the selection station in different years, it had 80-82 c/ha. On average, over the 2 years of state variety testing (2006-2007) in the forest-steppe zone, the yield of Lisova songa was 69.2 t/ha, at the level of the standard Podolyanka variety.

Baking qualities. According to the laboratory of the state commission, the Forest Song variety is classified as a strong wheat: protein content 14.0%, gluten 29.0%, strengthflour 331 units, volume of bread 1190ml.
