In the Register of plant varieties of Ukraine since 2011. It is recommended for cultivation in the steppe and forest-steppe zones of the country.

Economic and biological characteristics:

Universal type for cultivation on different agricultural backgrounds;

High performance. During the years of state variety testing (2009-2010), it provided an average yield of 7.62 t/ha, which is 0.58 t/ha (7.2%) higher than national standards. It differs in high productive bushiness (720-810 productive stems per 1 m2). An ear of medium size, good graininess (46-58 grains in an ear);

Medium-ripe, growing season 276-283 days;

Medium-sized (102-107 cm). Resistant to laying (7-8 points), shedding (7-8 points), to germination of grain on the root (7-8 points);

"Zhuravka Odesskaya" - Winter wheat High frost resistance (8-9 points), exceptionally high drought resistance (9 points), has a xeromorphic structure;

Field resistance to powdery mildew (5-6 points), brown rust (4-5 points).

Grain quality: belongs to the group of extra strong wheat. Protein content 13.4-13.8%, crude gluten 29.5-34.6%, flour strength 380-420 c. A., the volume of bread from 100 g of flour is 1460-1480 cm3, the overall grade of bread is 4.6 - 4.8 points.

Approbation signs: a variety of erythrospermum, white spike, spiny, pyramidal in shape, medium length (9.6-10.2 cm), medium density (21-23 segments per 10 cm stem). Spikelet scales are oval, of medium size (length without tooth 8.5 mm, width 4.0 mm), nervation is weak. The spike of spikelet scale is straight, short (1.8-2.1 mm). The shoulder of the spikelet scale is straight, 0.6-0.7 mm wide. Keel weakly expressed. The grain is red, of medium size (length 6.6-7.3 mm, width 3.2-3.7 mm, ratio of length to width 2.1), the furrow of the grain is shallow and short.

Agrotechnical requirements: to realize the high genetic potential of yield and grain quality, the variety should be placed on the best predecessors and grown using intensive technology.

Features of the variety: it successfully combines high productivity, excellent indicators of grain quality and resistance to extreme drought conditions.
