The MTZ-82 tractor is the most common tractor of the 20th century and is now very popular. Everyone has long studied its characteristics and capabilities. Traditionally, 2-PTS-4 two-axle trailers, which carried no more than 4 tons of cargo, worked with thetractor MTZ-82. The use of a 10-ton TSP-10t tractor tipping semi-trailer doubles the efficiency of the MTZ-82. That is, for the transportation of feed with a volume of 17.5 m3 and a weight of 8 tons, half as many walkers are needed as with a 2-PTS-4 trailer. This load capacity was achieved by reducing the trailer's own weight to 2 tons and changing the design from a trailer to a semi-trailer.

The semi-trailer with a drawbar adds load to the rear axle of the tractor, due to which the tractor, having better contact with the ground, increases its traction force. Add to this the increase in maneuverability when reversing and the simplicity and reliability of the design.
