Mechanism of action
The mechanism of fungicidal action consists in suppressing the synthesis of ergosterol in fungi. The fungicide has contact and systemic properties and has a prophylactic and pronounced therapeutic effect. The active substance is quickly absorbed by plant tissues and spreads acropetally.
Properties
The fungicide suppresses the development of fungal pathogens from the classes of ascomycetes, basidiomycetes, and deuteromycetes. The therapeutic effect is observed within 96 hours from the moment of infection.
General recommendations
The drug provides an excellent protective effect if used prophylactically or in the early stages of the disease (up to 96 hours after infection). The fungicide must be applied evenly to the leaf surface of the plant, using well-adjusted equipment. Do not spray on wet leaf surfaces and when rain is expected within 2-3 hours after processing. To prevent the emergence of resistance in pathogens, the drug is used only in a system (on duty) with fungicides from other chemical classes. After 2 successive sprayings with Camelot, fungicides with a different mechanism of action than myclobutanil should be used, for example Desfilar, Alfa-Med, Alfa-Vrach.
