Mechanism of action
The mechanism of the fungicidal action of mancozeb consists in suppressing the activity of enzymes and disrupting the processes of ATP synthesis in fungal cells. The active substance destroys conidial sporulation of phytopathogenic fungi and limits their damage to plants.
Cymoxanil affects the synthesis of nucleic acids, proteins, fats, mycelial respiration and membrane penetration in pathogen cells, ensures reliable suppression of the pathogen and prevents the manifestation of resistance.
Properties of Fungicide Desfilar
Mankozeb is a contact drug, provides an excellent protective effect due to its versatile effect on a wide range of pathogens.
Cymoxanil moves in the plant translaminarly and locally and systemically, which provides prophylactic, antisporulation and healing action. After application, the active substance quickly enters the plant and is redistributed in the leaves and stems, which compensates for the uneven distribution of the working solution. Destruction of the pathogen occurs even 1-2 days after infection due to encapsulation of infected plant cells.
The use of Desfilar fungicide ensures the control of pathogens from the class of deuteromycetes (alternariosis, macrosporosis, anthracnose, septoria, rhizoctoniosis, black spot) and oomycetes (phytophthora, peronosporosis, downy mildew).
Treatment of plants with Desfilar at a rate of 2.5 kg/ha corresponds to the application of 340 g/ha of manganese and 43.2 g/ha of zinc, additionally improves the growth and development of plants and strengthens their stability.
General recommendations
The fungicide is used prophylactically during the growing season or when the first signs of the disease appear. Spraying should be carried out before diseases cause irreversible crop losses. Processing is carried out 3 times with an interval of 10-14 days, but no more than 2 times in a row. It is recommended to use in a complex system of protection with fungicides Alfa-Vrach, Alfa-Med, Camelot. A mandatory requirement is to ensure continuous coverage of the area and abundant wetting of plants when applying the drug. To enhance the therapeutic effect of the drug, it is recommended to add South African Alfalip, 0.2-0.3 l/ha.
