Appointment
The primer creates an adhesive layer for floating waterproofing coatings, which has additional waterproofing properties. For external and internal works.
Basic consumer properties
• easily applied to various bases, including wet ones.
• moisturizes well and penetrates into the pores of absorbent bases
• has high adhesion to various materials.
• forms a film with waterproofing properties after drying.
• compatible with freshly mixed cement, gypsum and lime bases
Appearance and composition
The primer — a black paste (mastic) — is a bitumen emulsion with highly elastic polymer dispersions and special
additives.

External conditions during the works
The optimal temperature is 18-25 °C
Optimal humidity 60-70%
Permissible temperature is 8-35 °C
Preparation of the base
Before use, the base must be cleaned of dust, dirt, whitewash, salts, rust, oil and grease stains. Surface moisture must be removed.
Application procedure
The primer is completely ready for use. It is applied to the base with a brush or spatula.
In the case of applying the primer on a heated or dusty base, it is allowed to dilute it with water, but not more than 30% of the initial amount, with thorough mixing. To avoid delamination of the primer diluted with water, it should be used within one hour from the moment of dilution. In case of delamination during storage, the primer must be thoroughly mixed before use (for example, using a drill with a nozzle) to obtain a homogeneous composition.
It is recommended to apply the primer in one or two layers (at least 2 layers must be applied when diluting 30% of water), preventing the formation of gaps, streaks and puddles.
The optimal thickness of primer application in one pass to obtain a continuous film is: on dense bases, such as dense concrete or asbestos-cement materials — 0.1-0.3 mm (consumption 0.1-0.3 kg/m2; drying time at 20 °C — about 10-15 minutes); on porous bases, such as cement-sand screeds - up to 0.5 mm (consumption 0.5 kg/m2; drying time at 20 °C - no more than 1 hour). Applying a second layer of primer should be done after the treated surface has dried. In the case of an increase in the thickness of the applied layer above the indicated one, as well as in the case of exceeding the optimum humidity and temperature below the optimum, the drying time of the applied film may increase.
After the primer dries, its surface has a residual stickiness that can make it difficult to pass through it.
During the laying of overlay roofing materials, overlaying should be carried out no earlier than one hour after applying the primer. At the moment of flame treatment of a surface with insufficiently dried MG-11 primer, minor foaming may occur in it due to the boiling of residual water in the base and soil layer. The foam quickly disappears, and the primer film becomes uniform. The heated or melted surface of the primer is glued (welded) with the material to be welded, ensuring its attachment to the base.
After finishing the work with the primer, wash the working tools with soap and water or use a solvent for bituminous materials.
Conditions and storage period
The warranty period of storage is 12 months, provided that it is stored and transported in the manufacturer's unopened package at a temperature of plus 5-35 °C.
Safety measures
Eyes and skin should be protected when applying the primer. The material that got on the skin should be washed off with soap and water, and in the absence of these measures, washed off with white spirit, and then the skin should be washed with warm water and soap and smeared with cream. If the primer gets into the eyes and mucous membranes, it is necessary to wash them thoroughly with warm water and, if necessary, consult a doctor.
Waste disposal
Remains of unused primer should be mixed with sand and allowed to harden. The solidified material is ordinary construction waste.
Packaging and packing
Polymer buckets of 6 and 12 kg;
Polymer flask 40 kg.
