But МХХ-Г Ecobit mastic is originally a waterproofing mastic designed for external waterproofing of foundations, basements and other construction and industrial structures operated at a temperature of no more than 70 °C. At the same time, waterproofing of structural elements is possible both with waterproofing mastic alone and with waterproofing mastic in combination with rolled and floating materials. And the sealing of joints, transitions and joints is traditionally carried out with bitumen mastic.

Bituminous waterproofing mastic МХХ-Г Ecobit is applied with a spatula. For application with a brush or roller, it must be diluted with a solvent in the amount of 20-50% (from the mass of the mastic). The mastic should be applied on a dry base, cleaned of dust, sand and other impurities, treated with HrydaTM bituminous primer. It is allowed as a primer to use bituminous mastic МХХ-Г Ecobit, diluted with a solvent in a ratio of 2:1.

To create waterproofing, it is necessary to apply 2-3 layers of bituminous waterproofing mastic (with a total thickness of 1 to 3 mm). It is recommended to lay a reinforcing layer of fiberglass between the mastic layers. Apply layers of mastic at intervals of 5 to 24 hours (at a temperature of 20 °C). Final drying of the layer of bituminous waterproofing mastic МХХ-Г Ecobit — at least 24 hours. At low temperatures, the drying time increases.
