Tabezon - Selective contact herbicide for combating annual dicotyledonous weeds in pea and soybean crops.
Active substance: bentazon, 480 g/l
Formulation: aqueous solution
Manufacturer: Peters & Burg KFT, Hungary
Tare unit: canister 20 l., the price is indicated for 1 l.
ADVANTAGES:
High selectivity in relation to cultivated plants.
It is used in the world to protect many agricultural crops - both dicots and cereals.
Does not impose any restrictions on sowing the next crop of the crop rotation.
One of the few preparations for combating dicotyledonous weeds in leguminous crops in the post-emergence period.
Mechanism of action:
The active substance has a contact effect. Bentazon is a substance from a group of herbicides that control dicotyledonous weeds by inhibiting photosynthesis in photosystem II (site of action - D-1-quinone-binding protein of photosynthetic electron transport). As a result of this reaction, the assimilation of CO2 is interrupted, when the active substance enters the plant's body, it forms protein radicals in the chloroplasts, which cause the oxidation of proteins, as well as the destruction of pigments in the chloroplasts, the result of which is the death of the plant.
Regulations of application:
Culture - Object against which it is processed - Drug consumption rate, l/ha - Method, time of processing, restrictions - Maximum frequency of processing, pcs. - Time limits for people leaving for mechanized/manual work, days

The drug is applied only with the help of
ground sprayers with a consumption rate of the working solution of 200-300 l/ha. In the case of a dense stand of plants, the rate of consumption of the working solution is increased to 400 l/ha. Since Tabezon is a contact preparation, ensuring complete and uniform wetting of weed plants with the working solution is a mandatory condition for the effectiveness of this herbicide on weeds. However, the rate of consumption of the working solution should not cause it to run off from the treated plants during application.
