Mechanism of action of Alfa-Bentazon Herbicide:
The mechanism of action of bentazone is initially based on the irreversible process of blocking photosynthetic electron transport. As a result of this reaction, CO2 assimilation is interrupted and the plant dies after a short stop in development. It is absorbed by both the leaves and the root system of plants. After absorption, the active substance moves through the plant through intercellular spaces and conductive bundles. The strength and direction of transport depend on the degree of absorption, the place of application, the plant species, the stage of development and the environment. The active substance moves mainly acropetally (from the base to the top). Weather conditions favorable for plant growth lead to increased absorption of the active substance and improve its effect.

Recommendations for the use of Alfa-Bentazon Herbicide:
the effectiveness of herbicide treatment depends on the high-quality application of the drug;
soybean is processed once in the phase of 1-3 true leaves of the culture. At the same time, the maximum consumption rate in soybean crops is used during weed germination (from phase 4 leaves (for annuals) to the stemming phase (for perennials));
temperature conditions of use: from +15 to +25°C.
Precautions for using Alfa-Bentazon Herbicide:
avoid using Alpha-Bentazone in the evening and at night;
read the packaging label carefully before use.
Proven tank mixes of Alpha-Bentazon Herbicide:
Alfa-Bentazon can be used in mixtures with other drugs (herbicides,fungicides,fertilizers for foliar feeding, growth regulators). The herbicide is not recommended to be used in a tank mixture with anti-grass preparations based on the active ingredient cletodim.
