Glue BF-2

Appearance:

Clear or slightly cloudy liquids from light yellow to red.

BF-2 glue is an alcoholic solution of polyvinyl butyral with resole phenol-formaldehyde resins.

The guaranteed shelf life of BF-2 glue from the moment of manufacture is at least 10 months.

After the warranty period of storage, the glue can be used for its intended purpose after checking its quality.

Purpose:

It is used for gluing metallic and non-metallic materials working at elevated temperatures up to 80°C and in an ACID environment. It can be used as an underlayer when gluing wood with metal.

During thermal aging of adhesive compounds, their strength increases (as a result of additional hardening of the glue (up to 175ºС)).
It has greater heat resistance, but less elasticity compared to BF-4 glue.
