Flint® Star - New fungicide of mesostem-systemic action
Active substance: trifloxystrobin - 120 g/l, pyrimethanil - 400 g/l
Preparative form: Suspension concentrate
Manufacturer: Bayer
Container: 1 l.
Mechanism of action:
Trifloxystrobin disrupts the respiration process in the mitochondria of the pathogen's cells. Pyrimethanil disrupts the process of biosynthesis of the pathogen's important amino acid methionine, as well as the secretion of hydrolytic enzymes important for penetrating the plant (due to the destruction of the cell wall) and ensuring mycelial growth.
Properties:
Flint® Star 520 SC, KS is a drug that contains the active substance trifloxystrobin from the class of strobilurins with a mesostemic mechanism of action and pyrimethanil from the class of anilopyrimidines with a systemic mechanism of action.
Both active substances of the drug perfectly complement each other. The exceptional prophylactic effect of trifloxystrobin is enhanced by the strong healing abilities of pyrimethanil. Both substances are able to redistribute in the gas phase to untreated parts of the plant, where the drug did not enter directly during processing. Versatile mechanisms of action make the possibility of the emergence of resistant races of pathogens unlikely.
APPLICATION:
APPLE TREE
0.4–0.5 l/ha - against scab, fruit rot, powdery mildew.
The maximum number of treatments is 3.
The waiting period is 20 days.

GRAPES
0.5 l/ha - against oidium, gray rot (treatment during flowering is recommended).
The maximum number of treatments is 3.
The waiting period is 20 days.
ADVANTAGES:
The combination of two active substances with fundamentally different mechanisms of action prevents resistance.
Complete redistribution of the drug — through the gas phase and through systemic action.
Flexible application with the possibility of extending the interval between treatments.
Preventive, curative and antisporulant action.
Independence from temperature conditions.
Resistance to washing off (2 hours after treatment).
Favorable toxicological characteristics - compliance with Food Chain conditions.
Strong activity on the leaf surface
Powerful redistribution effect of the leaf surface
Absorption by the waxy layer of leaves
Penetration into tissues
Translaminar movement
Compatibility:
Flint® Star mixes well with many fungicidal and insecticidal preparations. Before preparing the working solution, it is recommended to conduct an additional compatibility test.
