Stefam Novy is a selective herbicide used in the fight against annual dicotyledonous weeds and some cereal weeds on sugar beet crops. It does not affect the following crops in the crop rotation. It is recommended to carry out processing at the cotyledon stage of weeds.

It is most effective at an air temperature of +15 °C to +25 °C.

Before each combination with a new drug that has not yet been tested, it is recommended to conduct a compatibility test.
For post-emergence treatment, this drug is used mainly in tank mixtures with herbicides based on metamitron, etofumesate, which significantly increases the level of effectiveness and extends the range of action of the drug. It is not recommended to add alkaline preparations to the tank mixture with this preparation. At the recommended rates, the drug does not exhibit phytotoxicity forbeetroot.
