The originator is the plant breeding institute named after V. Ya. Yur'eva.

The variety was created by the method of intervarietal hybridization followed by repeated individual selection. Listed in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2007.

Variety - contecstum (linked), under variety - mesomelan (black seed scar)

Leafless (whiskered) variety, semi-dwarf type, stem is ordinary, plant height - 78-85 cm, internodes to the first inflorescence - 12-14.

The flowers are white, 2 flowers on the peduncles.

Bib of the peeling type, of medium size, slightly concave, with a blunt top.

The number of seeds in a bean is 4-5, maximum -8,

Weight of 1000 seeds 250-270 g.

Grain use variety, medium ripe.

Resistant to lodging, requires timely harvesting.

Resistant to arid growing conditions.

In the state variety test in 2004, the variety showed high yieldsgrains - above 50 t/ha - on variety plots in all zones of Ukraine.

Thus, in 2004, the yield of 54.1 t/ha was obtained in the steppe zone of the Nikopol DSS by variety,

in the forest-steppe on the Bilotserkivska DSS of the "Pivdenny" NDC - 56.1 t/ha. In Polissia, high yields of the variety were obtained in the Rivne DCESSR of the Rivne region, at the Prylutsk DSS of the Chernihiv region, and the Horodenkiv DSS of the Ivano-Frankivsk region - 49.2-50.3 t/ha each.

According to the two-year data of the state variety test (2004-2005), the Deviz variety was included in the group of the most productive varieties.

The protein content in the grain is 20-23%.
