- spraying of crops in the phase of 2-4 leaves of the culture.
Mechanism of action:
The drug enters the plant by being adsorbed by the root system and leaves of weeds. The active substance of the drug - metamitron belongs to the chemical class of triazinones, has systemic properties and is an inhibitor of non-cyclic photophosphorylation. The drug, moving along the plant acropetally, enters the chloroplasts and suppresses the process of photosynthesis (Hill's reaction).
Speed of impact, period of protective effect:
The effect of the drug on weed seedlings begins at the moment of germination. The signs of the drug's effect are manifested after 3-7 days by the formation of necrosis, discoloration of the leaves. When applied pre-emergence, the drug creates a protective "screen", providing optimal conditions for the culture in the early phases of its development. Weeds die 2-3 weeks after applying the drug.
Advantages:
-A wide range of application on beets - can be used both before and after the crop, which ensures its reliable protection.
-Not phytotoxic for beets
-It acts on weeds both through the root system and through the leaves, thanks to which the high biological effectiveness of the drug is ensured.
-Quick action on weeds
-Wide temperature range of application - from + 5° to +25°С
-Exhibits high herbicidal activity at low temperatures
Compatibility with other drugs:
To expand the spectrum of action, it is recommended to use the Lavina herbicide in a mixture with preparations based on phenmedipham and desmedipham (Kyanit), if necessary, it can be applied in a mixture with graminicides, but in each specific case it is necessary to conduct a preliminary check for the physico-chemical compatibility of the preparations. To prevent a toxic effect on the culture, multi-component mixtures (more than 2 drugs) should be avoided. When preparing working mixtures with bethanal group drugs, Avalanche is poured into a tank filled 1/3 with water, mixed thoroughly and, only after its complete dissolution, the bethanal group drug is added to the working solution. It is not recommended to add
insecticides and liquid
fertilizers.
to tank mixtures.
Recommendations for optimal conditions of use:
The working solution is prepared immediately before use and should be used immediately after preparation. The consumption rate of the working solution is 200-300 l/ha. Under dry conditions, the maximum rate of working solution should be applied. Lavina herbicide can be applied before sowing, before germination and after emergence of beets. It is not recommended to spray beet crops weakened by frost, heat, or pests. It is forbidden to use the herbicide on acidic soils with pH<5. Spraying the soil with Avalanche before sowing and before crop seedlings can be carried out even at low temperatures - at an air temperature of +5°С. For post-emergence application, to obtain the maximum result, processing should be carried out in the optimal temperature regime (from + 12°C to +25°C).
