Mechanism of action:
Belvedere® Forte is made on the basis of three active substances:
Desmedipham and phenmedipham. These components are inhibitors of photosynthetic electron transport. Substances are instantly absorbed by the sheet plate without further translocation.
Etofumesate. Thanks to this substance, the pesticide inhibits cell division, stops the growth of meristem tissues and effectively prevents the formation of a wax layer. Belvedere Forte herbicide is absorbed by the roots and seedlings of weeds (mainly), but at the mature cuticle stage it does not penetrate the leaves well. Pests are most sensitive at the stage of seed germination, since etofumesate is easily transported into the seedling during this period.
The drug acts instantly, but the first symptom in the form of yellowing appears 4-8 days after the herbicide treatment. 2-3 weeks pass between the introduction of agrochemicals and the complete death of the pest.
