This procedure is best carried out immediately after harvesting, when the soil has already dried. On a field treated withdeep soil conditioners, the following soil treatment procedures should not be started too early in order to avoid re-compaction of the soil. The deep tiller can also be used to prepare the soil before planting fruit trees, berry bushes and deep-rooted plants.

The deep-grower is produced in versions with 5 and 7 teeth with a tooth pitch of 45 cm. All deep rippers have a strong frame on which a shaft is installed with depth adjustment using a parallelogram. The teeth of the deep ripper are protected from damage by a shear bolt. In addition, the teeth are equipped with replaceable coulters and a "mole", which performs additional loosening in the deep layers of the soil.
The effective working depth of the U486 series reamer is 65 cm, and in order to maintain the appropriate quality and efficiency of the reamer, the power consumption per tooth is about 30 kW.
