Potassium chloride KCl is a crystalline salt of hydrochloric acid.
It can be granular, coarse-crystalline or fine-crystalline, white or pink in color.
It can also be called: potassium salt of hydrochloric acid, sylvin, potassium chloride, potassium chloride.
Its production is based on the enrichment of mineral ores and is carried out using two technologies - the halurgic method and the flotation method.(//tractor-service.com)
The first method consists in processing ores with a saturated, hot solution of salts, as a result of which pure salt of a dirty-white color is obtained.
The flotation method is based on the different wettability of the constituent ores, resulting in the separation of individual finely ground particles.
Potassium chloride is used for independent application and as a raw material for the production of fat mixtures.
