Puma Super herbicide is a highly effective post-emergence preparation used to protect grain crops from annual grass weeds. In its form, the preparation is an oil-water emulsion and contains such active ingredients as: fenoxaprop-P-ethyl in an acid ratio of 69 g/l and mefenpyrdiethyl (antidote) 75 g/l. The presence of an antidote is determined by the high selectivity of the drug to the culture.
The main advantages of Puma Super herbicide:
The maximum degree of control of annual grass weeds.
It is convenient to use due to wide time periods of introduction.
The drug Puma Super works effectively in different climatic conditions.
The possibility of processing the field using aviation equipment.
Has no restrictions regarding crop rotation due to rapid decomposition in the soil into harmless compounds.
Mechanism of action:
(//tractor-service.com)
Due to its systemic effect, the Puma Super herbicide penetrates the weed by absorption through the ground organs already three hours after the application of the pesticide. At the cellular level, the agrochemical inhibits the process of biosynthesis of fatty acids in the meristem tissues of weedy plants, thereby disrupting the process of creating cell membranes, which ultimately leads to the stoppage of development and the complete death of the weed.
Speed and duration of protective action.
Puma Super herbicide, after application, rapidly spreads over weeds and after 24 hours from the moment of treatment suppresses their competition in the use of all nutrients and moisture from the soil in proportion to the crop. Depending on the weather conditions, complete dying of weeds is observed after 2 weeks. In order to achieve a better result from the use of this pesticide, spray at the early stage of the vegetation of weeds in the phase of the presence of two leaves. The drug directly affects only those weeds that are in the field at the time of application. Carry out processing at the moment of the appearance of the main mass of weeds.
Compatibility with other drugs
In any case, when making a joint tank mixture with other agrochemicals, a thorough preliminary check for the compatibility of active substances is required. Do not use together with pesticides that contain such active substances as: 2,4-D, fluroxypyr, dicamba, florasulam, bromoxynil. It is allowed to be used with herbicides containing MCPA, but the acidity should not be more than 400 g/l.
Recommendations for use
Apply herbicide no later than the mid-trub stage of annual grass weeds. Do not use when the cultivated plant is in a state of stress (frost, heat, drought). Do not apply together with drugs that have a strong wetting effect. If the weather forecast promises rain, the consumption rate should be increased to 1 l/ha.
