Description and characteristics:

We present the Polish 2-row potato planter S-239. It performs all the operations related to planting potatoes in one work cycle: it plows furrows, plants potatoes, and mounds the ground, forming ridges. Potatoes can be planted in rows at a distance of 50 cm or 62.5 or 67.5 cm. The weight of the planter is 205 kg. Requiredpower of the tractor about 24 hp. The pond has a metal hopper attached to the frame, which holds 180 kg of potatoes. There are two chain conveyors with scoops in the hopper, to which the torque from the input wheels is transmitted by means of a chain transmission. The conveyor belt outside the hopper is covered from above by the head of the landing device, and from the front by a discharge pipe. Two wedge-shaped coulters are attached to the frame of the potato planter in front, they regulate the row width of 50 cm or 62.5-67.5 cm and the planting depth in the range of 6-12 cm, and at the back three arrow-shapedkuchnika with adjustable "wings" they regulate the height of planting. The distance between the tubers changes due to the change in the diameter of the running wheels. The diameterwheels can be 47, 52, 57 cm, respectively, the distances between the tubers will be 29, 32, 35 cm. The maximum working speed of the potato planter should not exceed 4 km/h. A sprocket is attached to the drive axis of the planter for the chain drive of the fertilizer hopper, which can be purchased separately.
