Cultivator KRN-5, 6 KRN-4, 2 by Gost from the manufacturer intended for weeding KRN/KRNV, Kharkiv region.

Cultivator KRN-5, 6 KRN-4,2 by Guest from the manufacturer is intended simultaneously for a number of agricultural tillage works. Among the types of inter-row works that are performed thanks to the machine, the following can be distinguished:

- land treatment before sowing (includes cutting, loosening and mineralization of the soil);

- hilling of high-stemmed crops;

- regulation, elimination and full processing of weeds.

It should be noted that mineralization of the soil and fertilizing of agricultural crops is carried out only afterre-equipment of the inter-row cultivator mounted KMN-5,6 fat seeding apparatus ATP-2.

Productivity of 9 working sections in 1 hour of operation of the KMN-5.6 device ensures processing of a field with an area of at least 6 hectares. Such a result was achieved thanks to an innovative series of improved technical indicators of the machine.
The weight of the machine is 920 kilograms. With an engine power of 80 horsepower, the operating speed of the KMN-5.6 remains at 10 km/h. Transport speed 15 km/h. A plus to this is the possibility to disconnect the fat-sifting apparatus.

The hinged type of construction of the cultivator has a soil grip width of 5.6 meters. At the same time, the width of the rows is set according to the standards — from 45 to 70 centimeters. The cultivator is able to process corn, sunflower, rape and other tall crops sown by the eight-row or twelve-row method. But it is worth remembering that the machine can process only 8 rows at a time. The depth of tillage is from 6 to 16 centimeters.
