Kornyk larch is a dwarf deciduous coniferous tree, a compact, small spherical shape with bright, green, soft needles 3 centimeters long, which blooms in early spring. In autumn, the needles turn yellow, acquire a yellow-golden color and fall for the winter. At the age of ten, Larch European Larch is a layer with a diameter of 40-50 centimeters, and in an adult tree, the diameter of the layer does not exceed two meters.
Larch European Kornik is very popular among gardeners in Europe and the United States for creating contrasting, landscape, Japanese and panoramic compositions. Kornyk larch looks very good as a solitaire on lawns and flower beds, this dwarf tree will make even a very small garden unusual and decorative. Often larch of this species is used to create unique alleys in large garden areas.
Larch of the European Kornyk suits the Ukrainian climate, it easily tolerates our frosty winters, since branches without needles are not afraid of frost. Kornyk larch is a wind-resistant, light-loving tree that is resistant to urban air pollution, likes rich soils, so it is desirable to feed the tree in the spring with mineralfertilizers for conifers. Fertilizers should be applied to the surface of the soil at the root neck. Kornik likes moderately moistened soils.
