The high productivity of the "Hetman" plows became possible due to the fact that instead of the field board, which is necessary to keep the plow in the furrow and which takes on the pressure proportional to the pressure on the plowshare and the blade, a counteracting plowshare was installed. The friction-sliding resistance of the field board against the edge of the furrow reaches 30% or more of the traction resistance of the entire working body.
When installing the opposing plow, the traction force on the plow decreased by 40%. This, in turn, made it possible to increase the grip width to 60 cm per working body.
Thus, with practically the same traction load on the tractor, it pulls a plow with a larger working width. We get fewer passes and reversals.

• Increase in productivity by 50-80%. This allows to reduce the number oftractors involved or to use tractors with a lower traction class;
• Reduction of fuel consumption by 6-10 l/ha. This, as well as the use of tractors of a lower traction class, allows you to significantly reduce costs per 1 conditional standard hectare;
• Improvement of microbiological processes in the zone of root nutrition of plants due to thorough mixing of the soil and wrapping of crop residues to 2/3 of the plowing depth. At the same time, the upper fertile layer of the soil with all microorganisms and harvest residues is not dumped at the bottom of the furrow, but is located approximately in the middle of the arable layer, in the zone of aerobic bacteria's vital activity. In this way, the arable layer is preserved in the zone of root nutrition of plants, while weed seeds are wrapped to a depth that is uncomfortable for their growth. Therefore, weeds grow much later than cultivated plants;

Principle of operation

Plow construction
