PROMETREX® 50, k.s. - Selective herbicide for the control of annual dicotyledonous and some cereal weeds on
potato crops, carrots,
sunflower and soybeans
Formulation: suspension concentrate
Active substance: promethrin, 500 g/l
Packaging: 5 l, the price is for 1 l.
Danger class: II
Purpose and mechanism of action of the drug:
Prometrex® 50, k. s. — herbicide of the triazine group, has a selective effect and can be used both before and after crop emergence. The drug enters the plant through the roots and sprouts during pre-emergence treatment, as well as through the leaves during post-emergence application. Prometrex® 50, k. s. moves along the plant and accumulates in the apical meristem. Suppresses the process of photosynthesis, which leads to the death of young weeds.
Recommendations:
Prometrex® 50, k. s. applied by continuous spraying of the soil. The duration of action of the drug is more than 4–10 weeks, depending on soil and climatic conditions. On heavy soils with a high content of humus, the consumption rate should be maximum. Do not carry out inter-row cultivation after using the drug Prometrex® 50, k. s. — this will reduce its herbicidal effect. Moisture is necessary for the activation of Prometrex® 50, k. s. In arid soil conditions, shallow mulching to a depth of 2–3 cm is recommended — this will provide more reliable weed control. It destroys weeds at the time of their germination when applied before seeding and within 4-7 days when applied after seeding.

The following crop rotations:
There are no restrictions on next year's crop rotation. If the culture under which the drug was applied died for any reason and there is a need for reseeding, only crops tolerant to the action of the drug can be reseeded (sunflower, potato, carrot,
coriander, peas, etc.).
