The device is used in beekeeping for fumigating honey bees with varoatosis. Intensive dosed evaporation of the active substance in combination with a strong irritating effect caused by the evaporation of the active substance gives high efficiency of treatments.

When using oxalic acid or in some cases thymol as an active substance, the device can be successfully used in the production system of environmentally friendly products. When using alcohol and other disinfectants, it is possible to use a device for disinfecting beekeeping equipment, hives, combs.

Medicines are administered using a gas pump. One stroke of the pump sends 1 ml of medicine into the system. The capacity of the tank for the treatment solution is 600 ml. 160

There is a sleeve for stable fastening of the heat collector to the burner nozzle. The front conical cover of the heat collector provides more intense heating of the tube and gas savings. All connections of device nodes are professionally made. A handle is installed on the mechanism for adjusting the supply of the working solution for convenience.

Start of work

Before starting operation of the Varomor device, the smoke cannon should be equipped with a gas canister. This work should be carried out in the fresh air. To do this, you need to unscrew the ring of the gas canister. Turn the handle of the gas supply valve clockwise. Insert the gas can with the convex side into the lower part of the gas burner housing. By rotating the gas canister clamping ring on the threaded connection, we send the gas canister to be pierced by a needle located in the burner housing. A working device prevents gas leakage. The current replacement of the gas cylinder is carried out only after the gas has been used up. Gas canisters are disposable, cannot be refilled and are sold in the construction materials trade network. Instructions for use of the gas burner are included in the Varomor kit. To acquire skills in the operation of the device, it is recommended to conduct trial tests of the device by pouring kerosene without the active substance into the tank. A full gas cylinder is enough for 1000 beehives.

Procedure for working with the device:

Preparation of working solution No. 1

For 100 gr. add 15 g of ethyl 96% alcohol. oxalic acid. While stirring, heat in a water bath (t 40-50C) until the acid crystals are completely dissolved. Add 15 g to the resulting solution. thymol Stir until completely dissolved. The working solution of the specified composition evaporates well without the formation of oxalic acid crystals in the system. This amount of solution is calculated for processing 25 bee colonies. Keeps its properties for 2-3 weeks.

Preparation of working solution No. 2(//tractor-service.com)

Take 5 ml. Add Bipina or Tactics to 100 ml. purified kerosene. At the same time, a homogeneous solution of a white shade should be formed, without sediment. This amount of working solution is calculated for processing 50 bee colonies. Working mortar keeps its properties for several months.

Preparation of working solution No. 3

For 100 gr. add 5 ml of water. clartan or taufluvanilate. Heat in a water bath (t 40-50ºC) until complete dissolution. Such a working solution must be prepared immediately before use. For processing 50 bee colonies. Remains of the working solution should not be stored in the working system of the device, and when re-using it, it is recommended to filter it.

Use of solution

After opening the lid, pour the received working fluid into the tank. Open the gas supply valve by turning the valve handle counterclockwise. We light the gas burner by pressing the trigger of the piezo element. We adjust the desired (optimal) gas supply mode. The flame of the burner should not protrude above the external protective contour of the collector.

After 1-2 minutes, pump the working liquid into the system with the handle of the pump of the supply of the working fluid until the appearance of persistent clouds of smoke from the nozzle of the nozzle. At the same time, the drive handle should be pulled behind you to the stop. Liquid supply is carried out when the handle is released. The drive handle is adjusted to supply 1 cm.3 of working fluid. When the first cloud of smoke is formed, a drop of the working solution may come out of the nozzle.

Insert the nozzle 1-2 cm into the lower leaf and feed one puff of smoke into the nest of the family when using amitraz as the active substance, 3-5 puffs of smoke when using thymol or oxalic acid. It is recommended not to use thymol if there is a young infertile uterus in the nest, as well as at air temperatures higher than +30C. At the end of the treatment, close the gas supply valve.

In the summer period, amitraz treatment can be carried out only after the last extraction of honey, or 45 days before the first extraction of honey,selection of perga or 7 days before collection of the skin. Processing ofbee colonies is carried out inhive, preferably in the evening, when summer bees return from the field, or during the whole day in non-summer weather. In calm, windless weather, the shutters should not be closed during processing, and in windy weather, it is advisable to close the shutters for 15-20 minutes.

If there is a brood in the nest, the treatment is carried out 4 times with an interval of 3 days. (to destroy the mite that comes out of the brood).

During the infertile period, treatment is carried out 1-2 times with an interval of 3-4 days.

It is important to use tick-catching nets when treating with any drugs. The presence of nets prevents the appearance of ticks resistant to this or that drug, significantly increases the efficiency of treatment.

Safety technique when using the device

· Using the device requires compliance with safety rules when working with gas cylinder equipment and flammable substances.

Do not allow mechanical damage to the device. This can lead to the loss of its tightness and possible leakage of gas or working fluid.

· It is forbidden to eat, drink, smoke during the treatment.

· Do not inhale the generated smoke. When processing, move against the wind.

· The device should be transported in a sealed package in the trunk of the car. Store in a well-ventilated non-residential premises.

· In the event of defects related to the operation of the gas burner, it is necessary to contact gas equipment maintenance specialists.
