The mechanism of action of bentazone is originally based on the irreversible process of blocking photosynthetic electron transport. As a result of this reaction, CO2 assimilation is interrupted and the plant dies after a short stop in development.
After absorption, the active substance moves along the plant through intercellular spaces and conductive bundles. The strength and direction of transportation depend on the degree of absorption, the place of application, the type of plants, the stage of development and environmental conditions. The active substance moves mainly acropetally (from the base to the top). Weather conditions favorable for plant growth lead to increased absorption of the active substance and improve its effect.

Properties of the herbicide Alfa-Bentazon
• Alpha-Bentazone is used to suppress and destroy a wide range of dicotyledonous weeds and plants of the sedge family.
• Spectrum of action: sensitive: ragweed, small-flowered halinsoga, field mustard, field buckwheat, Tatar buckwheat, common sedum, black nightshade, tenacious nightshade, common wormwood, garden purslane, wild radish, roman, chamomile (species), gorse (species), gorse (species), ryegrass (species) common, blue cornflower, birch-like and kidney mustard, medium star, Theophrastus's rope-wort, species of swan. Moderately sensitive nettle (species), field violet, veronica species, common mustard.
General recommendations for use

• The effectiveness of herbicide treatment depends on the high-quality application of the drug. Soy is processed once in the phase of 1-3 true leaves of the crop.
• At the same time, the maximum consumption rate in soybean crops is used in the case of weed germination (from the 4-leaf phase for annuals, in the stemming phase — for perennials).
• Alfa-Bentazon is not recommended to be used with other drugs (herbicides,fungicides,удобрения for foliar feeding, growth regulators). Herbicides are not recommended to be used in a tank mixture with anti-cereal preparations based on the active substance kletodim.
• To expand the spectrum of action on soybean crops, it is possible to use a tank mixture — Alfa-Bentazon 2 l/ha + Alfa-Mais 6 m/ha.

• Optimum temperature conditions of application from +15° to +25°С.
• Rate of consumption of working fluid 200-400 l/ha
