Gaucho® is a systemic and contact poison for the pre-sowing treatment of wheat, barley, sugar beet, corn and sunflower seeds against a wide range of pests. The active substance of the drug (imidacloprid) belongs to the group of chlornicotinils. It blocks the transmission of nerve impulses in the body of insect pests and at the same time differs from conventional drugs by a new mechanism of action on insects that excludes the emergence of resistance.

Effect of the drug
Seeds treated with Gaucho® provide complete insecticidal protection against all important leaf pests and soil pests.
The active substance is absorbed by the roots of the plant that germinates, and from there it is directed to the leaves. At the same time, the intestinal-contact insecticide is distributed very evenly over the young plant and achieves a long-lasting effect against sucking and biting insect pests. Gaucho® is an excellent protection of the root system and above-ground organs of the plant in the initial phases of vegetation, a wide range of pest control, a low application dose, and a long-lasting effect. Experiments have established that the drug has a stimulating effect on the plant (anti-stress effect).
