For sale Systemic herbicide for the destruction of a wide range of annuals cereal and dicotyledonous weeds in crops of sunflower hybrids genetically resistant to herbicides of the imidazolinone group.
Active substance: imazethapyr, 100 g/l, bioactivator NN-21
Formulation: water-soluble concentrate
Tare unit: canister, 5 l
Mechanism of action
The active substance penetrates through the roots and leaves of plants, spreads through the xylem and phloem to the growth points. In sensitive plants, it blocks protein synthesis, which leads to cell growth arrest and plant death.
Signs of herbicidal action
Signs of herbicidal action are plant growth arrest, death of growth points, chlorosis of young leaves, slow plant death. After application, weed growth stops several hours after processing. But the signs of action may not be noticeable during the first days after using the drug. Complete death of weeds occurs within 2-8 weeks after treatment.
Regulation of use of the drug
Culture Harmful object Rate of drug consumption, l/ha Multiplicity of treatments
Sunflower (hybrids resistant to herbicides of the midazoline group) Annual and perennial cereals and annual dicotyledonous weeds, including species of ragweed 1.0-1.2 1
Method of application: the drug is applied only with the help of
ground sprayers after the emergence of sunflower seedlings.
Recommendations on crop rotation
In order to reduce the toxicity of subsequent crops, after applying the drug Euro-Lang, it is recommended to plan the crop rotation as follows:
▪ 4 months after application - it is possible to sow winter wheat;
▪ 11 months – corn, spring and winter barley, spring wheat, oats, winter rye;
▪ 18 months – sunflower (genetically not resistant to the action of imidazolinones), sorghum, rice, millet;
▪ 26 months – beets, rapeseed, vegetable crops.

The period from the appearance of cotyledons to the first pair of true leaves in
sunflower is critical. During this period, it is not recommended to use Euro-Lang herbicide.
Weed development phase
The maximum effectiveness of the drug is observed when it is used during the active growth and development of weed plants:
▪ annual dicots - phase up to 4 true leaves,
▪ annual cereals - phase 2-3 leaves,
▪ ragweed - from cotyledons to phase 2 true leaves.
Sunflower development phase
The drug is used in phases from 2 to 8 real sunflower leaves.
Rate of consumption of working solution
The consumption rate of the working solution is 200-400 l/ha. With a dense stand of plants, as well as with a large amount of plant residues on the surface of the field, the consumption rate of the working solution should be at least 300 l/ha.
It is not recommended to use Euro-Lang herbicide with a rate of consumption of the working solution less than 200 l/ha.
Compatibility with other drugs
▪ It is not allowed to use the drug in tank mixtures with anti-cereal herbicides (graminicides).
▪ Do not use Euro-Lang herbicide in tank mixtures with mineral
fertilizers, trace elements and growth regulators, which are used for sunflower fertilization.
Precautions
▪ Do not use the Euro-Lang herbicide in tank mixtures with other herbicides, including anti-grain herbicides, as the tank mixture may negatively affect the growth and development of cultivated plants,
▪ Do not use Euro-Lang herbicide on sunflower crops, the predecessors of which were treated with ALS inhibitor herbicides,
▪ The use of fertilizers in a tank mixture with the Euro-Lang herbicide accelerates the penetration of the herbicide into cultivated plants and can lead to their phytotoxicity,
▪ If it is planned to destroy weeds with the help of continuous-acting herbicides in the pre-emergence period of sunflower plants, such herbicides should be applied 2 weeks before sowing sunflowers.
