SYSTEMIC POST-EMERGING HERBICIDE FOR EFFECTIVE CONTROL OF DIPLOMATIC WEEDS, INCLUDING PROBLEM SPECIES, IN RAPSE CROPS
rapeseed.
Galera is a systemic herbicide. Clopyralid and picloram are easily absorbed by the leaves and quickly spread throughout the plant, including the root system, to the growth points. Both active substances are synthetic forms of growth hormones. Their use as
herbicides leads to the replacement and blocking of the functions of natural hormones in sensitive plant species that die as a result of impaired growth processes.
SPEED OF DRUG ACTION
The growth of sensitive weeds stops after 2 hours after applying the drug. Visual symptoms of damage (stopping of growth, deformation of leaves and stems) appear 2-5 days after the application of the herbicide, and complete death, depending on the type of weeds and weather conditions - after 2-3 weeks.
MAIN WEEDS TO BE DESTROYED
Highly sensitive: ragweed, field thistle, blue cornflower, weed vetch, bitter gorse, St. John's wort (species), sedum officinalis, field calendula, clover (species),
Kokorysh, common cross, common mother-and-stepmother, tartar molokan, thistle (species), black nightshade, tenacious nightshade, field nasturtium, chamomile (species).

Medium-sensitive: small-flowered galinsoga, tartar buckwheat, medium star, poppy, white marigold (up to 4 leaves), field forget-me-not, common sedum, field violet, zaparkytsa zaprokinata, jasnotka (species).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
Galera herbicide is highly selective for winter and spring rapeseed. It is advantageously distinguished by a wide range of possible terms of application: starting from the phase of 3 real leaves until the appearance of flower buds, the size (diameter) of which should not exceed 1 cm.
The maximum effect is achieved when processing young, actively growing weeds. Annual weeds should be in the phase of 2-6 leaves, and perennial root-shooting weeds should be in the rosette phase. The drug is recommended to be used when the average daily air temperature exceeds 8*C. Processing should not be carried out before freezing or immediately after freezing. Precipitation after 1-2 hours after applying the drug does not affect its effectiveness.
Galera successfully solves the problem of combating the tenacious podmarennik - one of the most problematic weeds in rapeseed crops. Maximum effectiveness of the drug is ensured when the height of the podmarennik is up to 8 cm. When the height of the weed is 9-15 cm, Galera inhibits the growth and development of the weed, which remains in the lower layer of the culture, does not form seeds and does not pose a threat to the yield and quality of rapeseed.
CONSUMPTION STANDARDS
Galera should be used at a consumption rate of 0.30-0.35 l/ha. Consumption of the working solution: 150 - 400 l/ha, the maximum rate of consumption of the working solution should be used for very dense crops, as well as in the late phases of culture development in order to achieve good coverage of the leaf surface of weeds.
