herbicides from the sulfonylurea group (Granstar, Trizlak, Express, Grozny), which can be applied at the rate of 50 g/ha at a time or 2 times of 25 g/ha, applied to vegetative plants.
In addition to high productivity, the Aleksey sunflower hybrid is characterized by a high oil content in the seed - 48-50%. Also, the hybrid has high resistance to drought and laying.
Aleksey's sunflower will grow well in the steppe and forest-steppe climatic zones of the country. Simply put, the Alexey hybrid can be grown freely almost on the entire territory of Ukraine. The highest average disease resistance among all hybrids.
The hybrid has excellent approval and biological characteristics. Tests of sunflower hybrid Alexey took place at the sites of State variety testing stations in different climatic regions of the country. Aleksey showed a high and stable yield on soils poor in macro- and micronutrients under adverse conditions in drought conditions.
In unfavorable dry conditions, the hybrid showed a yield of 25 tons/ha.
The highest productivity indicators were registered in Poltava and Kirovohrad regions (25-27 c/ha, respectively).
This hybrid of Ukrainian sunflower is suitable for all regions of the country. With the use of intensive cultivation technology and favorable conditions, sunflower Alexey yields at the level of hybrids of foreign selection.
