Karmal is a hybrid of a mangalitsa and a Korean herbivorous pig. Karmals originate from the crossbreeding of herbivorous
pigs : first, a Korean boar was mated with a mangalitsa, and then the hybrid female was covered with a
mangal. That is, Karmal has 75% mangal blood and 25% "Korean". These exotic pigs grow faster and reach sexual maturity in 115 days. The breed is meat, they are undemanding in content and have high immunity, they gain weight up to 270-290 kg when grazing, they are fertile, the meat has high taste qualities. Elite herbivorous pig breed. In the conditions of a walk, they are kept in a herd. Different types of herbs are used (including ordinary grass). They live outside all year round, do not require a warm room,
sows give birth completely independently, good mothers. Karmals usually weigh 150-300 kg. It turns out that growing them is much cheaper than ordinary pigs. It is not required to build a separate pig house for them, they can live outside. We have been engaged in professional breeding for 4 years. We will provide advice on keeping and feeding pigs of these breeds. We are located in the Ternopil region.
