Bokovye propellernye stirrers — are used both in production containers and in storage containers in the processes of the food industry. The main application of side stirrers is the mixing of low-viscosity products (milk, wine, butter, beer, alcohol, etc.) in large containers.

Principle of operation

LM side stirrers are equipped with electric motors, and LR stirrers are driven by gearmotors. Stirrers are installed on containers in an inclined position.
The rotation of the rotor creates a flow that directs the product to the bottom of the container, and then to the surface along the wall opposite the agitator. The curved bottom contributes to this effect. The mixer is mounted decentralized, which stimulates a circular flow. Thus, complete homogenization of the product is achieved.
