SUPN-8 seeder is intended for dotted sowing of calibrated and uncalibrated seeds of corn, sunflower, castor and sorghum with simultaneous application of mineral fertilizers separately from the seeds. the frame of the seeder, which rests on two support-drive wheels
wheels, the drive mechanisms of the seed sowing and fat sowing devices, a centrifugal fan with a hydraulic drive, eight seeding sections, four plate-scraper fat sowing devices, footrests for maintenance of the seeder, two disc markers, devices for controlling sowing and seed level in bunkers The section of working bodies consists of a parallelogram-type suspension mechanism, a track-type combined coulter 1, a pneumatic automatic seeding device with a perforated sowing disk 5, a mechanism for regulating the depth of the coulter 7, consisting of a curtain and a quick-release pin, a wrapper 8, a slide 9, a train 10 and a seed hopper 12.

Principle of operation: With the help of the transmission mechanism from the supporting and driving wheels, the rotation of the seed-spreading discs and augers of the fat-spreading apparatus is carried out. With the help of a vacuum, the seeds are sucked into the holes of the rotating disc located in the discharge zone and transported from the intake chamber to the discharge zone. The removal of excess seeds that have stuck to the holes, back into the protective chamber, is carried out with a dropping fork. The coulter makes a groove, lays the fat first, they are sprinkled with earth, and then, in the groove, the seeds fall so that there is no contact between the seeds and the fat. The furrow is closed with a wrapper, the rolling wheel compacts the soil, creating contact between the seeds and the soil and conditions for them to absorb moisture, and the plume levels the surface of the field and creates a mulching layer of soil.
