Some information about incubators:

All incubators of Ukrainian manufacturers can be divided according to three main features:

1. Type of temperature control device, they are analog and digital:

- The analog thermostat is a relay that changes the voltage on the lamps and an alcohol thermometer that measures the temperature in the incubator. The main disadvantage of the analog thermostat is the temperature change in the incubator when the voltage in the network changes, which can kill all the chicks when the voltage drops for several hours. Since the alcohol thermometer is a rather inert device, it is quite difficult to set up such an incubator (the setup process takes 15 minutes or more).

-The digital thermostat consists of a thermocouple and resistors that change the voltage on the heating device. The required temperature is set with the help of an electronic panel and is maintained automatically in the future, regardless of the voltage in the network. Setting the digital thermostat to the required temperature will take no more than 1 minute.

2. Type of egg flip:
-manual: each egg must be turned over, rolled 2 times a day by hand;
-mechanical: the eggs are placed between the grid, to turn all the eggs it is enough to move the handle from the outside of the housing;
-automatic: the incubators are equipped with a turning mechanism and turn over automatically from 2 times a day (the number of turns is programmable)

3. Type of heating element: they are TEN and lamp, there is no unequivocal answer to the question of which of them is better, here, as they say, there are as many specialists as there are opinions. In this matter, everyone agreed on only one thing: if a heating element breaks down, it is much more difficult for an average user to buy and replace it, but anyone can replace an incandescent light bulb if you buy it in the nearest store or on the market.

The bodies of allincubators are made of thick and dense foam.
ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION: for the entire incubation process (21 days for chicken eggs), the incubator consumes an average of 25-30 kWh of electricity (10 or 20 UAH depending on your category of electricity consumer)
