Automatic coupler SA-1 is intended for connecting to the hitch mechanism and disconnecting from it from the driver's seat of trailed machines and tools, which have a "reciprocating" unit - the hitch lock. The auto-coupling provides free suspension of machines shifted to the side relative to the tractor axistractor up to 120 mm, with a lock tilted forward up to 15°, as well as tilted to the side up to 15°. In the lower part of the hitch frame, fingers are welded from the outer and inner sides, with which the hitch is installed in the holes of the hinges of the longitudinal rods of the hitch mechanism. At the same time, the frame will be in an inclined position from the tractor, which makes it easier to hang the machine. In case of insufficient transport clearance or uneven movement of the working bodies of the machines, it is necessary to connect the central rod with the frame through the hole in the bar. When connecting the central rod to the frame through the hole and tilting the machine lock back, the central rod should be lengthened before hanging the machine, and shortened to the required length after hanging. The dog serves to fix the connection of the frame with the lock of agricultural machines. The lock is a flat structure consisting of two channels welded at an angle of 65° and fastened with a bond. During operation, the toe of the dog must rest on the stop of the lock. For the tightness of the connection, it is necessary to establish a minimum gap between the stop and the toe of the dog with the help of eccentrics located on the back plane of the machine lock.
