Poly-Spectr-8/V is the first specialized computer electrocardiograph for veterinary medicine.
Poly-Spectr-8/B can record ECG in animals in standard Eindhoven leads (I, II, III), in reinforced (aVL, aVR, aVF) and precardial (V1...V6) leads (by additional order).
Poly-Spectr-8/V is equipped with electrodes of a special design intended for recording the ECG of dogs, cats, horses, cows, sheep, rabbits, rats and other animals.
The device is an electronic block the size of a mobile phone. It is connected to a computer via a high-speed USB interface. The use of USB allows you to digitize the curve with very high quality: the quantization frequency is 2000 Hz per channel (most of the similar devices on the market today provide quantization with a frequency of no more than 500 Hz per channel).
During registration, the electrocardiogram is displayed on the computer screen. Later, it can be printed on ordinary office paper using any computer printer.
The computer program included in the complex performs high-quality interference filtering using a specially developed library of digital filters.
The program automatically analyzes the ECG: places the markers of the nodal points of the cardiac complex, calculates all amplitude-time parameters and forms a syndromic conclusion. When placing markers and calculations, a special algorithm adapted to veterinary medicine is used. For a more accurate analysis, you can specify the type of ECG: "small mammal", "large mammal" or "dog". In addition, the parameters of the analysis are affected by the weight of the animal, the value of which will also need to be entered into the computer.
The device can be effectively used as an ECG monitor during operations: a sound signal is sent to each cardiac complex registered in real time, and the current value of the heart rate is constantly displayed at the bottom of the screen.
