Extruder grain EKZ-350 (soy), Dnipropetrovsk region.

The EKZ-350 grain extruder is intended for the preparation of fodder by the method of grain extrusion processing. During extrusion, a temperature of 120-180 °C and a pressure of 20-30 Atm. are reached, hydrolysis of starch occurs with an increased amount of dextrins and total sugars, the structure of the cell walls is destroyedcells. Fiber breaks down into secondary sugar, which improves feed digestibility and palatability, and pathogenic mycoflora is destroyed. There is a significant increase in feed digestibility from 45% (with traditional grain processing) to 95%.

For example, the use of extrudates of peas, corn, barley, and wheat in feeding pigs allows:
- to intensify the average daily weight gain of pigs by 15.7-27%,
- reduce feed consumption,
- to reduce the number of piglets due to a sharp (2-17 times) decrease in bacterial fungal seeding of grain.(//tractor-service.com)
