The disc harrow is intended for the cultivation of soils of various mechanical composition with grinding and embedding in the soil of the harvest residues that remained on the surface of the field, as well as for the preparation of the soil for sowing winter crops, after harvesting the plowed ones, without the deep main cultivation of the soil. The harrow can be used in all soil and climatic zones of Ukraine.
The disc harrow consists of two batteries, with "chamomile" discs installed on the front, and solid discs on the rear, which makes it possible for the harrow to work at a given depth and with high quality, regardless of the hardness of the soil and crop residues on the surface of the field. This is achieved primarily due to the large load on the disc (inBGR-6,7 "Solokha" it is 137 kg/per disc) and combinations of discs ("chamomile" discs cut the soil layer better and grind the crop residues, "solid" discs better mix and crumble the soil), thanks to this "Soloha" works well in fields with large harvests leftovers
To increase reliability and speed up repairs, both disc batteries of the harrow are divided into three sections, each of which rests on two supports with bearing assemblies, thus, with a working width of 6.7 m, the disc battery rests on ten bearing assemblies with self-centering spherical roller bearings, which have several degrees of protection against dust and dirt.
Sections of disk batteries are assembled on shafts of square section, which makes it impossible to rotate disks, coils between disks and pressure washers.
Discs with a diameter of 710 mm are installed on the harrow, which makes it possible to increase their resource by at least 30% compared to discs with a diameter of 650 mm, which are installed on other harrows.
But the most important advantage of this disc harrow is the stable cultivation depth. In disk harrows that were previously produced by other factories, the depth of cultivation was set by the angle of attack of the batteries, but when soil moisture and the amount of plant residues on the surface of the field changed, the depth of soil cultivation decreased, or on the contrary, it increased, which violated the main agrotechnical requirement - the depth of cultivation. In the diskбороны БГР-6,7 «Солоха» глубина возделывания выставляется также углом атаки батарей, но дополнительно ограничивается на колесной подвеске, таким образом даже при максимальном углу атаки батарей глубже чем установлено на колесной подвеске борона не углубится, а сухая земля или большое количество растительных остатков не уменьшат глубину возделывания благодаря значительной нагрузке - 137 кг/диск (для примера в БДТ – 7 этот показатель составляет 55 кг/диск).
Upon request, the harrow can be equipped with a rolling roller, which additionally grinds large lumps of earth and creates such a background after its work that reduces the evaporation of moisture from the soil. Structurally, it is made of plates, this prevents it from being clogged with plant residues and wet soil.
Comparing with the traditional technology of the main cultivation of the soil with a plow, using a harrow, you reduce fuel consumption in half and perform the same volume of work twice as fast.
If you take into account only the fuel economy, the harrow will pay for itself already after working 1300 hectares, but in addition, you will not have piles of plant residues on the surface of the field, pile ridges and collapsed furrows, as with plowing, the soil will be less compacted.
You will do your work twice as fast, because you don't need to buy 2 tractors and two sets of tools to go with them.
And most importantly, remember, when you buy a harrow, you pay for it money that you would still spend tomorrow on additional fuel.
