Bulk bow storage system, Kyiv

Storage in bulk (bulk, bulk)

The simplest and cheapest waypotato storage, onion storage - storage in the sides.

With this storage system, more products can be stored per square meter than with other types of storage. This system is best suited for storing potatoes and hard onions.
There are several solutions for side storage:

a) floor ventilation with semicircular channels
b) underground ventilation with a grid floor or channels.
c) reverse ventilation

a) Outdoor air channels

Due to the gradual narrowing of the channel, a uniform distribution of air is achieved throughout the volume (edge) of the product. The distance between the channels is equal to the height of the side to ensure optimal air distribution.

Advantages of floor channels

easily mounted
easy to clean at the end of the storage season.

b) Underground ventilation

The fully slatted floor contributes to a more optimal distribution of air inside the product, as ventilation is carried out over the entire area. But such a system requires much larger investments compared to others.

Advantages of underground ventilation

optimal distribution of air throughout the thickness of the product
