Salt in briquettes or licks can be added to the diet of various types of animals, especially farm animals and animals that require an additional supply of minerals in their diet. Some of the animal species that may benefit from salt supplementation include:

Cattle (Cattle): Salt can be added to the diets of cows, bulls, sheep and goats. It contributes to the maintenance of mineral balance, stimulates water consumption, improves appetite and affects the general condition and productivity of animals.

Horses: Some horses may benefit from adding briquetted salt to their diet. This is especially important in the hot season, when horses lose a lot of salt through sweat.

Goats and sheep: Especially in regions where certain minerals are low in the soil, adding salt can help prevent mineral deficiencies in the diets of goats and sheep.

Pigs: Although pigs do not require a significant amount of salt in their diet, it can be added to provide certain minerals and support general health.
